Danika Scott is a Canadian artist, currently residing in King City, Ontario (and formerly of Nanaimo British Columbia). Danika's passion and love for her artwork is evident through her diverse range of styles and quality of work.

 

From a young age Danika was encouraged to learn, explore, and play through hands-on activities including drawing, painting, and playing outdoors. Armed with a vivid imagination, she quickly learned to express her fantasy world through artistic media, particularly the visual arts.

 

Danika graduated from the University of Victoria in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science and a combined major in Biology and Psychology. She then went on to work at the Vaccine Evaluation Center (located at BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver) as a research assistant. Although the job was rewarding and the work meaningful, she felt in her heart that she was not fulfilling her life’s purpose. She has since made the decision to dive back into her artwork.

 

Danika's art stems from a burning desire to create and bring beauty into the world.
